With a background in psychology and journalism, Sabrina Rogers-Anderson is passionate about delving into the human mind and bringing people's stories to life. She's been a freelance writer for 25 years and her work has been published in magazines and on websites around the world. Sabrina is also the author of two books.

Dr Rowan Burckhardt is a clinical psychologist and the founder of the Sydney Couples Counselling Centre. He holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Wollongong, where he also completed his Bachelor of Arts, majoring in psychology. In addition, he holds a Master of Psychology from the University of Bordeaux in France and was awarded all these degrees with distinction. He gained his PhD from the University of NSW, which examined the relationship between emotion regulation and mental health problems. He received numerous grants and scholarships from the private and public sector to advance his PhD research. He currently holds a university position as Adjunct Lecturer at the University of NSW School of Psychiatry.

Mark Butler MAddBeh MGestTher CReC MPACFA (Clin) is an accredited clinical psychotherapist with 15 years’ experience in the mental health field.  Combining this with 25 years in corporate environments, Mark works with organisations with a focus on mindset and mental wellbeing at work, including workplace burnout, stress, anxiety and related unhealthy coping strategies. He will share some insights on the latest mental health at work legislation and how as therapists we can expand our reach to better serve these environments

Emily is a registered psychologist in clinical practice with particular interest and expertise in trauma, adverse life experiences and adjustment difficulties. Her approach is warm, holistic and integrative, incorporating body, mind, spirit, community and environment. Emily supports adults with a wide variety of presentations, including trauma, adverse childhood experiences, mood and anxiety related difficulties and adjustment to major life experiences such as becoming a parent and spiritual emergencies. Besides being a psychologist, Emily is an author and academic passionate about non-pathologising and consumer-led approaches that move beyond the biomedical model of mental health care.

I am a psychologist and the founder of The TARA Clinic. I am a pioneer in addiction treatment and am passionate about paving the way to disrupt how society views addiction and engages in its treatment.

Prof Gatt is Lead Scientist of the Gatt Wellbeing & Resilience Group at Neuroscience Research Australia and the School of Psychology, UNSW. She leads a research program that focuses on understanding the neuroscience of wellbeing and resilience to stress and trauma, and ways wellbeing and resilience can be promoted

Melissa Ferrari is one of Australia’s most sought-after therapists with nearly 25 years’ experience in couples counselling and individual psychotherapy.

Melissa is regularly called upon as a relationship expert across national media, with regular spots on Channel Nine’s Today Show, Today Extra and ABC Radio and is a Clinical Member of the Australian College of Relationship Counsellors and PACFA College of Psychotherapy. As a leader in the field of Couple Therapy Melissa is a fully certified PACT Therapist and has had the privilege of training directly with pioneer of couple counselling and founder of the PACT Training Institute, Dr Stan Tatkin. for over a decade. Melissa has worked with thousands of couples to help them create more secure and fulfilling relationships with this dynamic and innovative approach called The Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy.

Ben Searle (BSc(Psychol) PhD MAPS MCOP) is an organisational psychologist and former academic with over 20 years’ experience studying wellbeing in the workplace, particularly in terms of engagement, stress, and burnout. Following his own recent experience of burnout, Ben is keen to share his personal and professional insights into the identification and management of this challenging condition. When he’s not working on his forthcoming book about burnout, Ben assists organisations in the development of assessment tools (e.g., for situational demands and employee wellbeing) and practice strategies for employee wellbeing support. 

Sophie is a Clinical and Educational/Developmental Psychologist with over 18 years experience working with young people. Sophie has been the Director of The Young Mind Clinic in Lane Cove for the last 5 years and currently provides consultant supervision services to a number mental health professionals including psychologists, counsellors and social workers who work with children and adolescents. 

Aileen Luo (BPsychHons, MClinPsych) is a psychologist and postdoctoral research fellow at Macquarie University. She has conducted research in cyberbullying since 2017 and is currently involved in a large-scale intervention project aiming to reduce cyberbullying in adolescents. In addition to research, she works clinically with adolescents and young adults in a psychiatric inpatient unit. Outside of work, Aileen enjoys visiting cafes and spending time with her cat.
